HGTV Dream Home Giveaway 2021 Event
Once again, we were incredibly honored to be invited by our friends over at Belgard, the leader in outdoor living essentials for the patio and beyond, to attend the HGTV Dream Home 2021 Giveaway event. Because of the pandemic, we had to make do with a virtual tour this go around but were again blown away with the stunning reveal of this coastal abode.
"This sprawling home is located in Portsmouth, RI, just 10 miles from downtown Newport, an idyllic seaside town known for its glamorous residents, rich history, and grand mansions from America’s gilded age. Newport has become one of America’s top vacation destinations, offering residents and visitors a cultural experience and lifestyle full of world-class dining and oyster shacks, music festivals, and sporting events. Built to capture Newport’s New England charm, the HGTV Dream Home 2021 was built and designed by local builder JPS Construction & Design with trend-setting interior design by Brian Patrick Flynn."
For the sixth year now, Belgard worked to elevate the HGTV Dream Home 2021 by creating the outdoor spaces. They designed everything from the back patio, eating area, grill/kitchen, to the driveway, front walkway, pathway, steps to the backyard, and all of the pavers/hardscapes. Keeping in step with the local area, Belgard made sure to select muted materials that evoked a timeless/natural feel throughout the entire space. By fleshing out their new initiative called Belgard Rooms—stay tuned for more info on this program—and using an array of different products, Belgard divided the exterior of the home into three cohesive yet distinct zones. This included the Kitchen, Dining, and Entertaining area near the fire pit, all of which work in harmony while also serving individual purposes. Every Belgard product was meticulously selected to ensure that the overall aesthetic and functionality of the home would shine through.
